It's also worth noting that there are two Ravage heads - the renders use the Stripes head, while the in-person samples look a lot more like the jaguar we know and love. (No, not the Atari Jaguar.) Astrotrain's head is named "Darkmoon."

If that weren't enough, this post at The Allspark rounds up facts, rumors, and "rumors" for Titans Return and possibly beyond. A Megatron pretool of Blitzwing, a G2 Laser Optimus Prime, and Nautica are some of the items that have been rumored previously and collected here. We don't know how many of them are legit, but if this list is accurate it's going to be an exciting next 12-18 months for Transformers fans. (And the paranoid fan in me remembers Star Wars, which had an amazing 30th anniversary line, a good 31st year line, and around the 34th everything went to crap for a couple of years. Anyone who tells you that the 2013 The Black Series line was exciting a liar.) So hey, here's to two more great years of robots in disguise! If this list is legit, the high level of excitement is Hasbro's to lose.

For those not keeping track, the main line alone this year has already confirmed Wheelie, Fortress Maximus, Blurr, Skullcruncher (or Skullsmasher depending on which release you read), Galvatron, and a bunch of other dudes from 1986 and 1987 - the kinds of things we don't normally get in abundance. The good old days are, quite possibly, right now.

Hasbro has made numerous products for the Asian market lately - repaints, repackaged toys, and so on - and even a few cool exclusives like sticker sheets and display stands. As of right now, this figure seems to be a mostly unchanged Unite Warriors Groove (from Japan's boxed set) with a trading card instead of a comic - and there is absolutely no word on a US release. Last year, Hasbro surprised us with American versions of Quickslinger (Slingshot) and Breakneck (Wildrider) as part of a "May Mayhem" promotion that did well. It's possible this is the 2016 promotion for the US, but that's just wild speculation and there are no facts at this time.

Speaking of Groove, his packaged shot may well have the strangest pose of any robot in recent memory. Why they don't package it in bike mode remains a mystery.

It's $40 and has a big whale in it, but it's also the right size for your Joes, Cobras, Legends-sized Transformers, Micronauts, and so on. I do not anticipate reviewing one here in the very near future due to costs, but you might want to take a look at that forum to get a gander at the toy. The in-box presentation doesn't really look at all exciting as it hides the "play" part.
