Also, Figure of the Day has been updated! The daily feature on figures you might have but might not-- either way, here's what you've been missing! Spanning from the original Power of the Force series of 1995 to the latest of the 30th Anniversary Collection, it's almost like a history lesson!

G.I. Joe Convention News Galore
|
Apparently, this was one of the better Joe conventions. Your news highlights are as follows:
Exclusives galore. Target will be getting exclusive vehicles (YOW), Toys "R" Us will be getting exclusive multipacks, Wal-Mart has some exclusives lined up, and Doc (male) was finally confirmed as the 2008 mail-in figure.
25th Line Look through 2008. While things will eventually change over for the movie, the current 3 3/4-inch line will be refined and expanded over the next year and change.
Movie toys in 2009. There will be a movie, and it'll be 3 3/4-inch scale. And like Transformers, it'll be its own beast.
Comic packs return in 2008. Like Star Wars, the real American hero will have comic packs once more. Some will have old comics, some will have new comics written by Larry Hama, and some will have repainted figures while others have new figures. So as far as figures go, it'll be a lot like the Star Wars range, but some of the new comics are going to be exclusive to these sets. Crafty idea, Hasbro!
No plans for G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover toys. Drat, and double-drat.
The best coverage we have found has been at Cool Toy Review, so check them out for more pictures and news. Kudos to Curto, Rich, and everyone else for doing a great job!

Wal-Mart Exclusive Spider-Spud 2-Pack Out Now
|
We saw this at the store yesterday, but didn't buy it yet-- however, you can see this Spider-Spud 2-pack on eBay. You get a "metallic" suited potato, and a black suited potato. Yes, two. You don't need two, but you have to get them both at once. It's a neat idea, but a little late-- we might snag it on clearance, though, just 'cuz.

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 513
|
Today at Galactic Hunter we look at the recently released Clone Wars-based version of Obi-Wan Kenobi complete with, erm, "gimp" mask! Hasbro didn't exactly do a wonderful job with Kenobi figures based on the longer haired Attack of the Clones appearances, although this one is a step in the right direction. It's in stores today, and it's easy to get-- so should you go run out and buy it? Read on!

G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary Wave 4
|
The good news: a fourth wave of Anniversary figures is due soon. The bad news: you probably have most of it already. Entertainment Earth posted this listing of the contents of wave 4, and we're told that it'll be figures from the 5-packs, but individually packaged. It isn't known if we'll see any changes, but if you want Roadblock, Storm Shadow, Duke, or Destro, this might be a cheaper way to do it. Assuming you don't want the whole collection, and based on how wave 1 turned out, you very well might not. No official pictures are yet available.

Wii Virtual Console This Week
|
Someone likes you this week, Wii fans, as Nintendo decided to bring two Japanese imports to its Virtual Console for us poor United Statesians. From the Nintendo 64: Sin & Punishment, a legendary shooter developed by Treasure (of Radiant Silvergun and Gunstar Heroes fame). You'll probably want this despite the 1200 point price tag, which means $12. From the Famicom/NES: Super Mario Bros. 2. No, not the game with the vegetables in Sub-Con, but the other one with the poison mushrooms. Widely regarded as a punishing game in its own right, the game goes for 600 points, or about $6. You might want this one too, especially if you're a glutton for pain.

Xbox Live Arcade This Week
|
If Halo 3 isn't your bag, you'll no doubt be delighted. Tetris Splash brings the classic gameplay to a downloadable format for about $10. The download should go up after 1 AM Pacific tonight, and it looks like it might be pretty good. Especially given it'll be a fraction of the price most Tetris games sell for in stores. We're not sure what all the modes are yet, but we want in on this action. Here's to it not sucking.

Transformers DVD: Who Deserves Your Business?
|
We aren't sure yet, but both Wal-Mart and Best Buy have unique offers that might make the hardcore fan want to buy multiple DVDs. Best Buy's offer page indicates their limited edition set will include two exclusive Robot Heroes mini-figures: Movie Cliffjumper and Movie Ultra Magnus. Meanwhile, Wal-Mart has been boasting a bonus DVD with an animated "prequel" based on the IDW comic series for quite some time, and TFW2005.com posted some proof. It's also worth noting that no word has got out for what Target, Kmart, or Toys "R" Us might have-- so there may be more options on the way.

G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary Wave 3 Hitting?
|
With word of Wave 2 hitting just about a week or two ago, it's more than a little surprising to hear that Wave 3 is supposedly hitting stores as you read this. We haven't seen either, but we're quite eager to get a Shipwreck ASAP. Happy hunting!

Wii Free Controller Jacket
|
Apparently this is a very good week for Wii fans. Not only are you able to buy great Virtual Console titles, but Nintendo is offering free Wii remote jackets. All you have to do is ask, and give them your serial number, and, well, wait. It's not a bad deal if you want such an accessory. The jackets will also be included with controllers and consoles at retail in the future.

Xbox Arcade Joystick: 50% Off at Target
|
We've been watching this item at Target primarily due to it not following typical Target clearance rules over the past month and change, that and, well, we wanted one. After seeing a 15% markdown, then a 30% markdown, the chain finally cut the price to 50% off yesterday. So now it's $19.98. This unusual controller features a d-pad, a joystick, a spinner dial, turbo control, and a USB connection for PC use (and presumably Mac, we haven't got it to work yet.) The controller also includes codes to download Time Pilot, Frogger, and Astropop for free. So it's not bad, and it will likely get cheaper in the next week or two if it's still available.
It's worth noting the joystick is not wireless, the joystick is not particularly clicky, but our early tests do seem fairly optimistic. We'll have more on this device later, but so far it seems like a decent purchase for $20 or less.

Xbox Arcade Extras
|
Want to pay for more content that should have been in the game in the first place? Well, today's your lucky day. This round-up explains all the new stuff you can pay for in Carcassonne, Tetris Splash, Soltrio Solitaire, and more. The Carcassonne expansion sounds promising, although 300 points/$3.75 seems kinda pricey for what it does-- if anyone hears that it's cool, do let us know.

G.I. Joe Waves 2, 3 At Retail
|
While we haven't yet seen any of wave 2 personally, we did snag a Cobra Red Ninja and Sgt. Stalker at a Target over the weekend. As such, the hunt continues for more new figures, including a new Cobra Trooper, Shipwreck, Zartan, Serpentor, Lady Jaye, Firefly, Beach Head, and Buzzer.
The two figures I found are essentially repaints, which seems to be what we can expect from the entire line. Sgt. Stalker is essentially the new Snake Eyes body with a new head. There are variations in the camo, although I have only seen the light green one so far. The Cobra Red Ninja (which sadly wasn't given a new name) is the Storm Shadow body with a new head and a new accessory. Still, they're pretty cool. This Red Ninja is different than the ones coming in the upcoming Toys "R" Us Snake Eyes vs. Ninjas 5-pack. Although it seems more tempting to keep these new figures on the cards, as the presentation is nice, we'll probably end up buying them all and opening them because we = suckers.
We're also working on the archive for this line some more, as well as the checklist. More this week as we can crank it out.

At Wal-Mart (well, one of them) we spotted a window boxed two-pack of Optimus Prime and Megatron from the Transformers Movie Robot Action Figures line. Each figure was battle-damaged and, we presume, pretty happy to be in the store. We're just babbling now. It's about $20ish.

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 520, 521
|
Today at Galactic Hunter we look at the brand new Animated Debut Boba Fett! This figure is basically a repaint, but Hasbro crammed in some minor sculpt changes and tossed in some new accessories. So how many should you go buy? Read on!
Love it or hate it, the C-3PO with Battle Droid Head has been a fairly popular figure over the past couple of years. Sure, some of us could stand never to see it again, but you can take it apart and it is one of the best C-3PO action figures Hasbro has ever made. If you haven't bought one yet, might this be a good time to reconsider? Read on!

Target Exclusive Transformers Bumblebee 2-Pack Out Now
|
Why settle for one when you can have two for twice the price? Hasbro's latest Target exclusive includes a $19.99 box with two $9.99 Bumblebee toys inside based on the Transformers movie from this past summer. The paint deco is a little different, but as the toys are extremely hard to find we have no doubt fans and parents will gobble this one up. Despite not really needing two of the same guy. (Would a Battle Pack be too much to ask?)

Wii Virtual Console This Week

Do you like Neo Geo fighting games? Well, this is the week for you. Three titles at 900 points ($9) each are up for grabs, including World Heroes, Fatal Fury, or Art of Fighting. Xbox Live Arcade This Week, Continued
|
If you like the little-used concept of advergaming, you're in luck. In addition to Puzzle Quest, this week's other Xbox download is a freebie from Toyota. Yaris lets you drive around in a Toyota Yaris with what appears to be one of Doc Ock's tentacles coming out of it. It has achievements and leaderboards, and is free, but at the same time it's an interactive car commercial. What, pray tell, do we make of it? Not sure yet. But we'll probably download it because a) we're curious and b) we hate ourselves.
Could new versions of Chase the Chuck Wagon or Mick & Mac: Global Gladiators be far behind? Stay tuned!

Review: 25th Anniversary Cobra Red Ninja
|
Review time! Today we look at the new, recently released Wave 3 Cobra Red Ninja action figure from the 25th Anniversary G.I. Joe line. It's based on the Brazilian "Cobra Satan" figure from several years ago, which was also a red repaint of Storm Shadow with tweaked package art. Is this new version worth your $5-$7, or should you save your money for more Crimson Guard figures? Read on!

G.I. Joe Cobra Legions Found
|
On Friday, we went hunting for individually carded Joes. We didn't find any, but we did score the super-cool Cobra Legions Battle Pack.
We're working on a review still, but here's the short version. (By the way, we found scores of these things around Targets this weekend for $24.99 a whack.)
|
|
Storm Shadow: Bright white plastic doesn't look like it will yellow easily. Valor vs. Venom-style paint job. Same weapons as other releases. Same quiver as 5-pack. New deco all around. Good figre, probably would buy separately.
Cobra Trooper: Comic book-style repaint with "flesh" hands, yellow accents, bright red face mask. Same rifle, base as other 5-pack trooper. Red logos. Would definitely buy more if available carded, but the gloves are clunky-- hands are generally molded in the glove color, so these hands are a little bit "fatter" and have problems holding some weapons well. (Again, we'd buy another 4-5 if we could.)
Cobra Commander: Ours had a stiff elbow which required "boiling" to enable mobility. Loving the executive/dictator colors with black, gold, and silver. Removable helmet, same blaster as other 5-pack release. Would probably not buy individually but totally digging it as part of the set. Be careful of silver on hands, we have no doubt it will rub off with time/play.
Cobra Driver/Stinger Driver: Grey repaint of Cobra Officer. Grey gun, removable helmet. Has trouble sitting. Excellent deco, helmet paint a little wonky. Would buy another one or two if given the chance.
Cobra Air Trooper: da winnah. Includes "air trooper" helmet (shown), a standard Cobra Officer helmet (not shown), jet pack, Cobra Officer rifle (not shown). Can easily work as either a comic-style Officer or an Air Trooper. We will buy more when they are available carded with Wave 4 later this year. The jet pack is the same mold used for this year's convention "jump troopers" meaning they're compatible with the flames from the 2003/2004/2006 Boba Fett action figures from Star Wars. This is the only figure in the set to feature any new parts or sculpting.
Cobra Logo: Plays 3 sound effects, all taken from either the TV show or movie themes. It's cute. I think it looks better than it sounds.
Playset/Backdrop: the box set includes several pieces so you can assemble your very own Cobra Rally. Nice. (If you want to see it assembled, check out David "Shortpacked" Willis' excellent shot of the set.)
Overall: worth buying for $35 or less. If this thing hits half price I'd buy 1-2 more for additional Cobra Troopers, Stinger Drivers, and Air Troopers. Articulation is as "good" as it was before, which is to say, it's questionable. (And the Commander/Storm Shadow would probably go to my desk at work.)
We're going to have at least 1 25th Anniversary action figure each and every week until we run out, kids. So strap in, we've got more coming up soon!
Like we said, Fett-compatible.
Hasbro, if you're reading: please do more of these boxed sets. They remind us of the awesome convention sets we can't afford, we love the heavy-duty packaging, and the price can't be beat. Can we trouble you for a Tomax, Xamot, and Crimson Guard gift set? Puweeze? (We think that's the technical term, "puweeze.")
And if you're still reading, Hasbro, how about some licensed characters in the mix? We've got money. We want Solid Snake. And anybody else you feel like doing. If you can make a case for Street Fighter II or Rowdy Roddy Piper, how about 20somethings' most favoritest video game commando?

G.I. Joe Robot Rebellion Cobra Commander Coming... to Club Members
|
We're very excited. Most of the toys from "Robot Rebellion"-- the proposed follow-up to Valor vs. Venom-- were released as part of the direct-to-consumer lines which would eventually follow, or were lost to the ages. Thankfully, the ages ended up spitting up one of the finer toys so we can all get one. You might recognize this Cobra Commander figure from eBay auctions, where it was a baby blue figure, but now it's being recolored in an awesome dark navy blue color and you can have one for the low-low price of $42 (or "free" with full club membership.) It's a neat figure, and we kinda want one. We might have to order one, which is unfortunate as we really, really like having $42.

G1 Sky Lynx Reissue Coming

According to numerous toy importers, the original Autobot... whatever it is Sky Lynx is getting a reissue at the end of this year/early next year. Xbox 360 Katamari Out
|
Long merely a rumor, Beautiful Katamari is now out for the Xbox 360. It's about $39.99 across the board, making it a little cheaper than most new games. G.I. Joe Multipacks Revealed, Wave 2 Found (3/5, anyway)
|
The guys at Toy News International posted a lot of nifty stuff over the weekend. Check out hi-res official shots of Comic Packs Wave 1, Target's exclusive vehicles, and Toys "R" Us' exclusive figure 5-packs. That's a lot of toy there.
On Saturday, we went hunting for individually carded Joes. Three hours and 50 miles later, we found Buzzer, Lady Jaye, and Serpentor. (No Cobra Troopers or Beachheads to be seen.) Early impressions follow the pictures.
Buzzer: Originally we thought this was the Duke/Flint torso and some tweaks-- turns out it's all new. The chainsaw was assembled correctly on ours and we're working on seeing if it can be manipulated properly. Includes stand, chainsaw, and gas can backpack. Pretty good. 16 points of articulation, decent sculpt.
Lady Jaye: Large rack, lots of makeup, very obviously an attempt to make the figure look more feminine than previous releases. (Also, tight rear.) We're a little surprised. 14 points of articulation (no wrists). Mostly good, iffy arm flesh deco. Includes pistol, stand, and bazooka thing.
Serpentor: We're at a loss. It doesn't look like the old one. Features removable helmet, sword, dagger thing, display stand, cloth cape (not removable), and has a hole in his back for a backpack, although no such pack is included. We're told it's based on the Devil's Due version, which isn't the original Hasbro version, which means we can take or leave this one so far. 16 points of articulation.
Overall: good if you're someone who's prone to liking Joes. Full reviews are in the works for the entire line, this week's is the individually packaged Snake Eyes. (We're doing weekly because, with our current schedule, that's about all we can do. Might boost it to two a week if time permits.) Wave 2 has yet to impress-- we were looking forward to Beachhead the most and no go so far.

More Exclusive Spider-Man at Wal-Mart
|
In the Spring, Wal-Mart had two exclusive Spider-Man 3 figures from Hasbro-- a black Spider-Man and a black Venom. Now, they have three more: metalized (but not vac-metalized) versions of regular Spider-Man, Sandman, and Goblin. Each is $9.96 and for repaints, we passed. Neither Hasbro nor Marvel saw a reason to include these on their sites or even announce they were coming. As such, we linked to this eBay auction which should give you a good idea of what to expect. Which is to say, not much.

Xbox Arcade Joystick: 75% Off at Target
|
Now it's $10.04, if your local Target stores have any stock left.
We like it enough to suggest you buy it for this price-- just for the games it comes with alone, it's worth $10. The joystick is icing on the cake.

PSP Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles Out Today (in theory)
|
While we've seen absolutely zero Internet-based reviews of the title, supposedly Konami's Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles will be in stores today. As we're used to spontaneous, last-minute delays, we're a little skittish-- by now we'd like to have seen something pop up online somewhere-- but we're crossing our fingers we'll see it in stores while we're out and about today. And if not, the crying will be intense.

Wii Virtual Console This Week
|
From the NES: Lunar Pool and Ninja JaJaMaru-Kun, which we've heard of and never heard of, respectively. From the Sega Genesis: Golden Axe 3 which, we're pretty sure, never came out in the USA. Buyer beware!

Xbox Live Arcade This Week
|
Two new games are coming this week to Xbox Live Arcade. Exit and Battlestar Galactica are your choices, both of which are 800 points ($10) each. One is a puzzle game-- and a port of a fine PSP title-- and the other is a shooter and hopefully it'll be better than Wing Commander Arena.

Review: 25th Anniversary Snake Eyes with Timber
|
Review time! Today we look at the first individually carded release of a Snake Eyes from the 25th Anniversary G.I. Joe line. We've got shots of both variants, and reasons of why you will (and won't) like it. As one of the more common figures, you might actually be able to get this one in stores-- but for $5-$7, should you? Read on!
Also, we found some new figures. What's interesting, though, is we found a Zartan figure with no "color change" burst on the package, but the figure itself changes colors. So far there hasn't been any evidence that a non-color change version really exists outside of people assuming it exists, but rest assured, we're looking for one.
We're still looking for a Series 2 Cobra Trooper, Series 2 Beachhead, Shipwreck with the shark tattoo, and the aforementioned Zartan.

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 535, 536
|
Today at Galactic Hunter we look at the newly released Luke Skywalker with giant moisture vaporator! His main accessory is larger than he is, plus he has a lightsaber and all the other good stuff you want. Did you buy one yet? Do you want to know if you should? Read on!
We also examine the less attractive Princess Leia in Endor Gear from the 1998 Princess Leia Collection line. She looks like she needs some help, and proves that proper coloration really makes a big difference in a figure turning out well. So is this old version worth a look? Read on!

First-Ever In-Package Transformers Animated Image

While it isn't due in stores for a while still, you can see an in-package shot of the upcoming Prowl toy from Transformers Animated over on eBay. It comes with a stoplight, which means it's really cool. We think so anyway.

G.I. Joe Adventure Team 75% Off at Target
|
...if you can still find them. Earlier this week we scored one lonesome Outback with his Terror of the Swamp gift set. It's pretty slick-- you get Outback, an alligator, and a bunch of guns for about $5. (Or $20 elsewhere.)
The second series of sets-- which is one item, which includes Snake Eyes and a Snake-- is hitting Toys "R" Us and Wal-Marts now. The other item from series one, Storm Shadow with a Tiger, should be available pretty much everywhere. The entire line looks like it'll only be 3 items, so get while the getting is good and enjoy your kung-fu grip!

Found & Playing: PSP Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles
|
After years of hoping, Konami finally released the original PC-Engine CD game Dracula X: Rondo of Blood-- and it's hidden inside another game. The just-released PSP Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles ($24.99-$39.99, if you can believe it) starts you off with a remake of that older game, and includes two other games inside as hidden bonuses-- the other is a retooled Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
The remastered Rondo is pretty great. A lot of people make the mistake of saying "it's just like Symphony of the Night" but it's not, despite being a prequel. If anything, it's closer to the NES Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse in that the stages are blocked out a certain way, there are branching paths, you can swap out characters, and the controls are a little old-school. You start off as Richter Belmont and, if you can find her, you can unlock young Maria Renard. Richter plays like a Belmont usually did in the 8-bit era-- you can walk, jump, go up stairs, and crouch. Directional whipping is not an option, nor is running. Your "double jump" will get you a little higher, but instead of propelling you straight up it actually kicks you backward slightly. Your weapons are the standard fare (Axe, Dagger, Holy Water, Clock, Boomerang, also a Bible) and cost hearts to use, plus there's the "item crash" attack which unleashes a super-strong attack for a cost of a few extra hearts. You can't upgrade your whip, nor is there a menu screen where you can swap out weapons and armor. Aside from those alternate weapons, all you have in the game is what you start out with. Meanwhile, Maria can slide, double-jump, and attack with a pair of doves right from the start. She's surprisingly strong, and much easier to play with than Richter in many cases. Her alternate attacks include a cat, a dragon, a phoenix, her singing voice, and a turtle.
Voice acting is about what you should expect in a game like this by now. It's OK. It's not Metal Gear Solid, but it's not the worst thing we've ever heard. "Acceptable" seems almost harsh, but it's neither outstanding nor bad. It's just OK. Maria sounds just a little too chipper, but that's typical in most games with female characters. If Portrait of Ruin didn't make you cringe, this won't either.
Gameplay has been described as "tough" or "cruel" but we're on stage 7 and so far it seems about on par with the earlier games we've played, only slightly easier. Yes, you're going to die. A lot. And yes, you're going to be set back to the beginning of the level. A lot. But if you played the older games, there's really nothing here which should surprise an old-school gamer like yourself. If you never played the originals, we suppose this is a good of a place to start as any. It's not like the three GameBoy Advance titles, and it's not like either of the two Nintendo DS games. We keep saying that, but it's worth pointing out that this while the game does feature limited exploring elements, it does not give you a wide open castle to explore with tons of weapon upgrades and other goodies straight from the start. (If you want those, you'll have to unlock the other games.)
As we'll probably never post a formal review, consider this it. We give the game very high marks. If you're the kind of gamer we are (grumpy, 16 bit fanatics who loved New Super Mario Bros., Metroid: Zero Mission, and the Xbox 360 Prince of Persia remake as well as the early Castlevania games) then you may consider this to be your game of the year. The sound and graphics are on par with some of the best polygon 2.5D-3D games (pre-PS2, anyway) and it's a lot of fun to play. The learning curve is really short, and practically non-existent if you're a fan of the series. We can't say too many bad things about it because it has (so far) met all our expectations, even if a few boss fights tend to be frustrating at first. Pick this one up. And if you're a big enough fan of the series, buy a PSP just to play this game-- if you can afford it, you won't be sorry. It's a great way to celebrate 10 years of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and it's a crying shame this game was stuck on a portable system that a lot of people won't own so they can play this through.
The most disappointing thing about the game is there likely won't be many more like it. Really good old-timey new (to the USA) games in this style are far and few between. Given there's never been an official sequel to Symphony of the Night, an announcement of New Super Mario Bros. 2, or much in the way of serious hints to indicate a new 2D Metroid might happen, we consider games like this to be rare treasures worthy of your time and money. And we're most thankful Konami put it out, despite the fact its main audience is going to be people who don't even own a PSP most likely. (Which no doubt means it'll be a downloadable title on some other console eventually.) And on that note, hey Nintendo, how about a full-crazy remake of Super Metroid or Metroid II? We deserve it. Oh, and remakes of the 3 NES Castlevanias would be nice too.

Wii Final Fantasy Screens

If you like long titles, you'll love Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle: The Little King & The Promised Land. There are 13 pages of pictures, but before you get too excited, a page is about 2-3 images. (Actually, that ain't bad.) Click through for more.

Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles: Unlockable Impressions
|
Yesterday, we posted early impressions of the Dracula X: Rondo of Blood remake featured on Dracula X Chronicles. Shortly after that, we beat it and went and unlocked the other two bonus games. How do they fare? So so. Both have the curse of the portable conversion in that the sound effects don't play right-- some are fuzzy, some just feel off. We're not sure why this is, because the same thing happened on a few ports of Final Fantasy games on the original Playstation.
So far, Symphony of the Night seems to be a direct port of the Playstation version with some altered dialogue, inferior sound effects, and new vocal stylings. The music is fine, and the audio fidelity of the voice acting seems perfect. However, the grunts and stabs? Not so much great. The layouts are exactly what you remember, just on a smaller screen. Some of the enemies feel like they act differently, but it could be our imagination. It plays fairly well, and if you've been itching to play it again, it seems good enough so far.
Meanwhile, Dracula X feels like a lost gem-- the original PC-Engine CD game is here in its full glory, complete with manga-esque cut scenes and 16bit-era graphics. It's a treat. If you like old school gaming, this is a can't-miss title. It's a real shame you can't play it from the start because it's easier to appreciate the work that went into the remake if you can give the original a try. There's some slowdown in some boss fights but it seems solid otherwise. Except, of course, for the sound.

Wii Virtual Console This Week

From the NES: Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, which has some of the best music the NES had to offer. From the TurboGrafx-16: Samurai Ghost which we've honestly never played. From the Neo Geo: Magician Lord, which you may have seen in demo units at CompUSA circa 1990. We love us some Simon's Quest so you best buy it.
