Harry Potter Lego: Wide Release

Numerous reports of the new sets showing up at Wal-Marts and Toys "R" Us stores and selling out just as quickly have come through this weekend-- entire shipments of several of the toys have been reduced to a few key items in just hours.

GameCube Preorders

Local Toys "R" Us Stores have started to take $10 down on upcoming GameCube software. So far, they have not taken any money down on the consoles.

Lord Of The Rings Releases Continue

Toys "R" Us, Kay-Bee, Hot Topic, and other toy-friendly chains have received figure multi-packs as well as the horse packs... no sign of the Ringwraith Horse set locally, though.

Pin Pal Moe: Wizard World posted this notice on the availability of the figure outside the bundles. He'll be sold online, one per household, at "12 noon" on October 10. No word of which time zone. There's more than one, apparently someone didn't notice.

16bit.com: We found a Mascot Homer from Wave 6 and a Treehouse of Horror II this weekend, so expect to see those up shortly along with the Wave 5 playsets. We also got the EB World set, although it's in Phoenix and we're not. So that'll come later.

Star Trek Anniversary Figures Revealed

The Raving Toy Maniac has revealed Palisades' new Trek set: Gene Roddenberry and Captain Kirk. They're... um... yeah.

More McFarlane Releases

Several new McFarlane toys have surfaced lately. The giant Ash, Kaneda on his bike, Spawn series 20, and several other toys have made it to speciality shops, so keep your eyes open. Also, our local EB has reduced the price on the Ryoko and Vash the Stampede repaints down to $9.99.

New Tron Toys in Japan

Via RTM's Speed Lines column, we got word of this link with images of brand new Tron toys!

Simpsons Pin Pal Moe Updates

Wizard World will be selling the toy to the US, Canada, and the UK starting today. Also, ToyFare Magazine's latest issue will be offering it, also starting today in most comic shops.

We spotted-- and purchased-- the Simpsons Christmas Set at Toys "R" Us today. It was $39.99. Pics tomorrow, we're almost done as we right this.

Playmates Toys has just released its Intelli-Tronic Lego-compatible Lord of the Rings toys, with sightings showing up at Toys "R" Us. They're pricey, the smallest set we saw was $19.99.
