Unsurprisingly, it's going to be a big year for Marvel.
The Marvel Legends lineup includes a swell (and very large) Hulk as well as a build-a-Hulkbuster. You really can't beat that.

New Kickstarter: Play With This Too

 Via Kickstarter: Play With This Too - Lost Protectors.
I got to see the prototype at Toy Fair, and it's involving a lot of ex-Hasbro people making a swappable, Xevoz-ish, MOTUC-esque line of 6-inch action figures inspired by numerous 1980s robot toys. There are some pretty amazing bonus head designs, a BMOG blue exclusive bonus set, and a surprisingly large amount of stretch goals. They passed the 10% mark pretty quickly.
The smallest pledge to get a figure is $55, and the "all in" pledge is $900, which will include any and all hypothetical stretch goal items. There are a lot of figures and it's somewhat difficult to easily determine just how many things $900 will get you, so take a look if you want in on the latest take on action figures from a team of ex-Hasbro people.

Let's wrap up Funko. Today we look at Funko Misc! Wacky Wobblers, Vinyl Vixens, and Vinyl Idolz are here as well as the Super Shogun Boba Fett formerly at Super7. That's right - it might actually make it out!
There are lots of new styles coming out of Funko, but the price on most of them continues to be quite low. Seinfeld, Ghostbusters, and Back to the Future Vinyl Idolz figures will clock in at $20 a pop.
They're making Frank Costanza, and he has a Festivus pole, and it's going to be $20.

  Via Hot Topic: Funko Universal Monsters Hikari Metallic Metaluna Mutant Limited Edition Vinyl Figure. It's limited to 750 pieces and is (currently) $39.60 with free shipping to stores. It's a healthy sized toy at 8-inches tall, but with 3 points of articulation it's not for everybody. (It is, however, something I dig.)
It's an opaque, metallic take on the figure. A translucent glittery version called (this is awesome) Life Force Metaluna Mutant is already available everywhere fine Hikari toys are sold, and I'll be reviewing it here shortly. This is plenty good too and I'm doing my best to not also buy the other versions.
