Review: Mattel Masters of the Universe Origins Stinkor Action Figure

Figure of the DayMattel Masters of the Universe Origins Stinkor Action FigureDaily figure reviews return until I am too tired to want to keep doing it! Our exciting Figure of the Day continues and my hopes is it will encourage you to kick in $1 a month to the Patreon which funds hosting for 16bit.com and Galactic Hunter! The web hosting bills are due this month.

Smells - or, it used to smell! Mattel Masters of the Universe Origins Stinkor Action Figure stinks less with time, and I am OK with that. Some figures have an odor that lasts forever, and it's fine by me to walk by the shelf with my Mekaneck-armored, Mer-Man-headed skunk dude and not sniff him out. I like the colors, I like the shield, I've got no real complaints. Get one. Read on!

Classic Review: Mattel Hot Wheels Tankinator

Figure of the DayMattel Hot Wheels TankinatorSomething new every day-- but this was posted 10 years ago today! Our exciting Figure of the Day continues for you lucky people! Is there anything we won't cover in this column? Probably not!

Posted 10 years ago! Mattel Hot Wheels Tankinator was designed for small figures, but I don't think I had the ones they intended to use. If you have small BitFigs or Minecraft guys, they can probably ride inside this small tank with an articulated turret. You can also have certain brick figures grab on to the sides. It's a nice toy, in the classic sense of that it should get you to pull out stuff in your toybox and make the most of it. Do read on, and come back tomorrow for a new one!

Laszlovania: What We Do in Castlevania Fan Game

Nintendo DSJackie DaytonaVia Edward La Barbera on itch.io: Laszlovania. The Nintendo DS era of Castlevania gets some love with this fan game. If you watched the FX What We Do in the Shadows, you'll recognize the distinct characters and voice of this roughly 1-hour play. I played a bit of it on the keyboard and it's pretty awesome. The download is $5.

Give it a look, it's pretty impressive. Also it is much cleaner and easier to control than the most recent official Castlevania: Belmont's Curse game.

Support 16bit.com and Galactic Hunter Hosting Fees via Patreon

16bit.comWe're taking donations for server costs! Really. One of the rewards is Q&A a few days early - you can read next Monday's installment as soon as it's ready, which can be as early as 1:00 AM my time on Monday!

If you've got a dollar a month to share, please Visit the Galactic Hunter Patreon and help cover our server costs - the bill is due this month. I'll still put in hours of work, writing, photography, and research - I just need some help making sure that the site costs me only time, and hopefully not money. Thanks for reading!
